Curved Acoustic Panel – Precision Sound Diffusion & Absorption

Designed with a gentle continuous curvature, our Curved acoustic panels maximize sound wave scattering while maintaining 3"(7.5cm) profile. The 12"× 12" base dimension (30cm × 30cm) with 25kg/m³ density core ensures optimal balance between space efficiency and acoustic performance.

Engineered with safety and performance in mind, our arc-shaped acoustic panels utilize a flexible polyurethane foam core treated with CAL 117-2013 compliant flame retardants, designed to inhibit flame spread while maintaining superior sound absorption.

Feature:

Size : 12"× 12" x 3" (30cm x 30cm x 7.5cm)

Thickness :25kg/m³ High Density

Material:Polyurethane Foam

Sold by 18pcs

Note :

Flame Retardant ≠ Flame Resistant:
This product slows ignition and reduces flame propagation under direct fire exposure (per CAL 117 vertical burn test), but is not fireproof. It should not be used in applications requiring continuous flame resistance (e.g., high-temperature industrial environments).

How to quickly return to normal size

Our sound-absorbing foam are packed using vacuum compression technology,Here are two ways to restore the product.
Natural rebound method :
Step 1.After receiving, take the sound-absorbing foam out of the vacuum packaging and lay it flat in a dry and ventilated environment.
Step 2.Stand and wait: Depending on the thickness, it usually takes 24-48 hours for natural rebound. Thick materials (such as more than 5cm) may take longer.
Step 3.Tap or shake: Pat the surface with your hands or shake it slightly to help the fibers/pores fluff up again.

Heating assisted method:
Step 1.Soak the soundproof foam in water so that each sponge absorbs the water.
Step 2.Then twist the sound-absorbing panel out of the water and blow dry with air or use a hair dryer(40-60℃,distance of more than 20cm).
Step 3.Put them in a sunny and ventilated place to let the sponge absorb heat, giving you the following two methods of recovery.

Question and Answer

Q1: What’s the difference between acoustic foam and soundproofing materials?
A:
Acoustic Foam: Absorbs mid-to-high-frequency sound waves (e.g., voices, music) to reduce echoes and improve sound clarity. Ideal for studios, home theaters, or offices.
Soundproofing Materials: Block noise transmission using dense layers (e.g., mass-loaded vinyl), typically installed in walls/floors.
👉 Pro Tip: Combine acoustic foam with sealing strips for full-spectrum noise control.
Q2: How effective is this foam? What noise reduction can I expect?
A:
Lab Tested: 5cm-thick foam reduces mid-high frequencies by 15-25 dB (e.g., reduces 50dB air conditioner noise to 30dB).
Key Factors: Cover ≥30% of wall area and seal gaps (e.g., doors/windows) for optimal results.
⚠️ Note: Low-frequency noise (e.g., car engines) requires additional damping materials.
Q3: Is the foam fire-resistant? Does it meet safety standards?
A:
Fire Safety: Meets international flame-retardant standards (self-extinguishing, non-combustible).
Eco-Friendly: Free of formaldehyde/asbestos, independently tested for indoor safety.
Q4: Where can I use acoustic foam?
A:
Home: Bedrooms (block neighbor noise), study rooms, music practice areas.
Commercial: Recording studios, office partitions, podcast rooms.
Avoid: High-moisture areas (e.g., bathrooms) or direct sunlight exposure.
Q5: How do I clean the foam? Is it mold-resistant?
A:
Cleaning: Vacuum dust gently or wipe with a damp cloth (neutral cleanser only).
Mold Prevention: Optional anti-microbial treatment available for humid climates.
Q6: What thickness should I choose?
A:
2-3cm: Basic absorption for small spaces (e.g., cabinets).
5cm: Best for most homes/offices (balance of cost and performance).
10cm: Professional-grade for studios (premium pricing).
Q7: Will the adhesive damage walls?
A:
Removal: Use a hairdryer to warm the adhesive, then peel slowly. Residual glue can be removed with rubbing alcohol.
Compatibility: Works on painted walls, wood, or tiles. Avoid uneven surfaces like raw plaster.
Q8: Can I request custom sizes or colors?
A:
Standard: 50x50cm or 100x100cm (black/white).
Custom Orders: Available for bulk purchases (100+ sq.m). Color customization may incur extra fees.
Q9: How is the foam packaged for shipping? Will it get crushed?
A:
Vacuum-Sealed Packaging:
The foam is compressed and vacuum-packed to minimize shipping volume and prevent deformation.
Simply open the package, allow 24-48 hours for the foam to fully expand to its original thickness.
